SYMPTOMS
It was determined that the Email Manager had the wrong Profile and Passwd settings. Went to Enterprise Configuration > Component Definations. I was able to change the Mail profile value, but when trying to change (delete) the password value, I received the error.

SOLUTION
Message 1

I have tested and reproduced the behavior you are seeing by going into
Enterprise Configuration>>Component Definition and trying to alter the Mail Profile & Password Fields.

In order to change the Mail Profile & password you will need to go to Screens>>Server Administration>>Components>>Component Parameters, Find the Email Manager & under Current Value change the Mail Profile & password, The Value On restart will populate with whatever you enter.

Then go to Screens>>Server Administration>>Servers>>Server tasks & you will have a task Email Manager Running (or sleeping). You should stop this task & then start a new Email Manager task The new Mail Profile & password will populate from the Value of the component values you changed, Next drill down into the task to be sure the Login was correct. Enterprise configuration allows the Changing of Enterprise Parameters only. These parameters affect Siebel servers already in this Enterprise (And any new Siebel servers that may be added later). The components should not be changed in Enterprise Configuration. Documentation from Siebel Server Administration guide>>Using Server Manager GUI>>Parameter Administration.
