When you make the enterprise server configuration , it is necessary to copy the values that you give.

The Siebel Enterprise Name and Filesystem must be saved.

From the DBA we must have the Database connect String and Database Security Adapter name.

This command started the Graphical user Interface

siebel@siebelserver:/services/siebel/8.1/config> ./config.sh -mode enterprise

Select create new configuration

Select Configure a new enterprise in a Gateway Name Server

Enter a name for the Enterprise Server and click next

Enter a password for the Enterprise Server

Enter Host name for Enterprise Server

Enter a description and click next

Enter Primary Siebel Filesystem path.

Select Oracle or whatever Databse you are using.

Database Table owner = SIEBEL

Enter the Oracle connect String, usually a DNS name configuration.

Siebel Database user account name = SADMIN

Enter password for SADMIN twice.

Select Database authentication for Siebel users.

Select Propagate authetication settings and click next.

We skipped all additional products offered here. Just click next.

Enter name and path of response file. It should be a text file and will show you the output of the configuration.

This screen will show a summary of what you have selected. Check the list. If they are not okay, cancel or go back. If they are correct, click next.
