This command starts the graphical mode
siebel@siebelserver:/services/siebel/8.1/config> ./config.sh -mode enterprise
You should enter and save these values
Siebel Enterprise Name
Anonymous user password
Siebel Enterprise Security Token
Select create new Configuration and click next.
Select create a new Siebel Web Server Extension profile and next
Enter a name for SWSE Profile and click next.
Select English Language and click next
Check Select Application specific statistics and next.
Select Compression Type ? None and next.
Do not select Http 1.1 compliant Firewall with compression.
Login session timeout value = 300. This means 300 seconds.
Active Session Timeout value =600 seconds.
Http Port number = 8080. Port 80 was already reserved.
Https port number = 443
We left Fully Qualified Domain name empty. Enter this if you have a website name that Siebel will use. This can also be an internal website name.
High Interactivity Login name = ANON.
This will come in eapps.cfg file.
Do not select Standard Interactivity Password encryption. It does not matter if you are not using this mode.
Standard Interactivity contact user Name = SADMIN
Enter the SADMIN password for standard interactivity contact password.
Default statistics page for Web Statistics = _statspage.
This means if your website is www.sss.com, stats will be visible in www.sss.com/_statspage
Select the connection Protocol = TCP/IP
Display SSL or TLS in Enterprise = None
Enter a name and folder for response file.
This is the last screen, it confirms success.
After the configuration is over you should test if gateway server can be started. Load siebenv.sh from gateway and start gateway
