Siebel Installations >  Siebel Open UI Installation in Redhat - Step 4 : Siebel Enterprise configuration

Run these commands

cd /u01/siebel/Siebel_Install_Image/15.0.0.0/Linux/Server/Siebel_Enterprise_Server/Disk1/install
./runInstaller

Click next.

Select New installation and click next.

Enter a Oracle Home name and the folder where you want to install.

None of your installation folder must not have a name 'install' and the maximum

number of subfolders is 128.

Select Gateway Name Server, Siebel Server and Database Configuration Utilities.

You should select EAI Connector if you need EAI.

Ignore this and click next.

Check the setup. Response file is a text file that shows the results of the installation.

If it says Installation completed successfully, alles gut. Otherwise check the response file.

Or open another command prompt do a truss.
