Attachments Losing Focus or Hidden Behind Main Siebel Application Using DISA

Siebel CRM - Version 15.9 [IP2015] to 16.0 [IP2016] [Release V15 to V16]

SYMPTOMS
When users try to open an attachment using DISA, the file loses focus or is lost behind the main Siebel application on DISA.

CAUSE
The issue is related to the MS Windows Operating System: this is not a DISA issue.

Microsoft Community Workaround

1. Go to start and type regedit.exe.

2. Navigate to the following location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop.

3. Double click the 'ForegroundLockTimeout' key. Change the notation to decimal.

4. The default value should be 200000 milliseconds in decimal, Setting the new decimal value to 0, and Click OK.
