Siebel Administration >  User getting empty Applet- happens only to one or some users

 

Solution

Clearing the IE cache does help to resolve the behavior in user local environment (Thick Client).
•    Close all applications and restart your machine. Launch IE.
•    Navigate to Tools > Internet Options > General tab > Settings > View Objects and Delete all the Objects that you see there.
•    Also the following can be cleared:
Tools > Internet Options> General tab > “Temporary Internet Files” section >
> Delete Files > Delete all offline content
> Delete Cookies
•    Reboot the machine again. Launch the Siebel application and test.

However, when user logged into the Siebel Thin Client in the same machine, he is getting the following message:

“Your version of the Siebel High Interactivity Framework for IE, required for use of this Siebel application, may not be current. In order to download a current version of the Siebel High Interactivity Framework, please ensure that your browser security settings are correct and then log in to the application again. Consult your system administrator for details about the Siebel High Interactivity Framework and correct browser settings.”

To solve Siebel High Interactivity Framework error, follow these steps

 

    Open IE browser, go to Tools -> Internet Options.

    General tab -> Temporary Internet Files -> Browsing history -
    >Settings -> View Objects

 

 

 

 

    In your case please delete Siebel High Interactivity Framework. You can delete all the installed components.

    After this please go to Siebel website as Administrator in your computer. Allow installation of active x components (it should happen automatically). You should have these installed – Siebel Calendar, Siebel Callcenter Communications Toolbar, Siebel High Interactivity Framework and Siebel iHelp installed in your browser.

 

This should solve the issue.
