Select Record From Picklist Applet On Double Click

SYMPTOMS
On : 15.5 [IP2015] version, Client Functionality

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Double click on a record in Pick applet does not work


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
We should select the record based on Double-click, the same way it was in HI

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Account List;
2. Select one Account and try to Add a Parent;
3. Select a record in Pick list applet and Double-click;
4. Nothing happens;
5. Click "Ok" and Selection will work.

SOLUTION


It is not a defect, it is a delivered functionality.

It is documented in Siebel Open UI Best Practices - Deployment Guide

Under the below section:On Page 24 under "Features that change in Open UI"

Open UI only requires left click for mouse interactions.
" Double click has been eliminated to improve usability: Double click causes novice users great difficulties and since it conflicts with the single-click interaction style of the Web and many mobile devices in addition to offering great draw-backs to accessibility.Double click is not common to all operating systems"
